# Pathways

Wouldn't it be great if you could just say what you were building, and get a bespoke UX course, designed for you? Well now you can, and they're called Pathways.

## Key details

* Each Pathway takes around **60 minutes** to complete
* Create **as many as you want** — there's no limit (other than your AI credits)
* Progress is **saved to your account** so you can pick up where you left off
* All content is **human-written** — AI curates, not creates
* Requires a **BFM+ subscription** — [see pricing](https://builtformars.com/pricing)

## Getting started

1. Go to [builtformars.com/pathways](https://builtformars.com/pathways)
2. Log in to your BFM account
3. Type in your goal — the more specific, the better
4. Your Pathway is ready in seconds

## Example Pathways

**"Reducing churn for my social app"** Get a module pulling together research on retention triggers, habit loops, and real examples of how companies like Duolingo and Spotify keep users coming back.

**"Creating a meditation app like Headspace"** Surface UX patterns around calm UI, onboarding for wellness products, and the psychology of building daily habits — with real product teardowns to learn from.

**"How to write UX content that converts well"** Pull together BFM research on microcopy, error messages, empty states, and the psychology of persuasive writing in product design.

## How teams use it

**Onboarding new designers** Instead of pointing someone at a reading list, create a Pathway for the product area they're joining. They get structured context, fast.

**Preparing for a project** Starting work on a new feature? Run a Pathway before you sketch anything. Thirty minutes of relevant research before the first meeting.

**Staying sharp between projects** Use the Bootcamp — five pre-built Pathways on onboarding, churn, checkouts, product psychology, and growth — to keep learning even when there's no active brief.

**Getting a second opinion** Not sure how to approach a design problem? Frame it as a Pathway prompt and see what the research says before committing to a direction.
